In his speech, he said to the soldiers that he will serve and will not abandon them. During his visit, Pres. Duterte promised the soldiers to upgrade the facilities of the government hospital to provide them a medical care.
Right after his visit, the government allocate a P500 million for a new medial building with state of the art equipment for soldiers. Pres. Duterte told soldiers he would make sure that they get the best equipment for AFP Medical Center.
The president said he would make sure the government would get the best value for its money.
